No. The area must be activated and the applicant and costs must meet current rules.

Does RSM process applications?

No. Applications and decisions belong to the Government of Ontario.

Should the insurer be contacted first?

Yes. The programme is not intended to replace insurance.

Can landlord and tenant claim the same cost?

Costs must be documented by the party that incurred them and duplicate recovery is not permitted.
